The South Central Minnesota Small Business Development Center (SBDC) is part of the Minnesota network of regional centers, staffed by committed professionals.  We are funded by the US Small Business Administration and regional funding partners, allowing us to provide our professional services at no cost. The SBDC develops and maintains partnerships around community and regional organizations and local, state, and federal agencies, providing access to a broad network of public and private resources that individuals can tap. SBDCs provide the expertise and guidance that every small business owner needs to flourish in today's competitive economy like services for existing businesses and start-ups, training workshops and seminars, tailored to meet the needs of the business community, and professional, confidential consulting. The consultants provide relevant and realistic advice. While the SBDC does not administer loan or grant programs, they can help businesses assess and identify funding options and opportunities, and prepare documentation that lenders require.
