Memorial Park
Memorial Park is our second largest park and is located at 500 5th St. SE. This nearly twenty (20) acre park has modern playground equipment and bathroom facilities. Memorial Park also has a lighted baseball field with grandstands that hold 2,000 fans, a lighted horseshoe put, three (3) lighted sand volleyball courts, and a half-sized basketball court.
For the music listeners, we have a large band shell that may be used for entertaining or events, and is the location of our Music in the Park concert series during the summer months. The park has two (2) large enclosed picnic shelters and ample green space. It's a great place to hold a family reunion or picnic. Memorial Park is the home to many of the Kolacky Days celebration events. It is largest annual event in Montgomery that is held on the 4th full weekend in July. Also, the Montgomery Mallards and the Tri-City United baseball teams call Memorial Field home every spring and summer.
